PK Communications

The internal communications solution for companies who care about employee productivity + retention. Specializing in content strategy for your most expensive meetings: all-hands and town halls.

Because your team wants to trust you.

About PK Communications

If you're a CHRO or Head of People, we maximize your team's productivity and retention via a strong internal comms program on a fractional basis. We specialize in content strategy and planning for your all-hands and town halls — your most expensive meetings.

Your team wants to trust you -- they want to feel in the know, that you have their backs, that you'll do right by them. And if they do, they'll move mountains for you. As boring as it sounds to some (not to us), your internal comms program and your town halls are huge parts of solving for productivity and retention.

We take this crucial function off HR's crowded plate and ensure employees feel aligned, supported, and able to do their best work -- at the right level of engagement.

Why Internal Comms, Why Fractional, and Why Now

Data tells us internal comms is integral to growth and success.

  • Only 27% of leaders think their staff are entirely aligned with the organization’s business goals...but only 9% of employees agree. (Axios, 2025)

  • 72% of employees say how well they understand org goals impacts how engaged they are at work. (Axios, 2025)

  • 58% of employees who are considering leaving their job cite poor internal communications as a factor in their decision. (Gallup, 2025)

  • 60% of workers said that internal comms also has an impact on their productivity, motivation, and understanding of the company’s mission and vision. (Gallup, 2025)

  • Gen Z expects authenticity, transparency and integrity in every aspect of their lives. (EY, 2024)

But you don’t need this work at 40 hours/week.

  • We maximize your potential at a fraction of the cost and commitment of a full-time hire.

  • Right-size the engagement to fit your needs as they are today.

  • Getting your team on the same page now pays dividends as you grow.

Meet Pamela

Hi! I’m Pamela, founder and principal of PK Communications, a fractional internal communications small business specializing in all-hands meeting content and planning. Combining skills from my first career as an elementary special education teacher and my second as a digital fundraiser, I love championing employees. I think that making sure employees feel supported, empowered, and appreciated is the key to your organization’s success, and I think communications is your main vehicle to do that.

Kind Words

“Beyond her strategic brilliance, Pamela is the kind of leader who brings out the best in everyone around her. She kept my team and me laser-focused, always ensuring we hit our goals with precision. Her keen eye for detail and ability to refine ideas made all the difference. And yes, we even grew to appreciate her infamous red pen—it meant she cared enough to push us toward excellence.

Anyone who has the opportunity to work with Pamela is in for something special.”

— Adrian Kelley, Cybersecurity, ex-Foot Locker

“Pamela has a great blend of strategic and practical intelligence, meaning she can juggle the day-to-day crises and course-changes without losing sight of the real reason we're doing the work.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with her on some Employee Engagement work which drew from psychology and behavioral science to better design strategic comms targeting key employee groups, and she was able to work with a huge stakeholder group to find consensus about how to turn insights into widespread action. She's also a great add to team culture, always positive and focused!

I can't recommend Pamela enough!”

— Lizzie Rabone, Predictive Analytics, ex-Edelman

“Pamela is a rare talent! She’s got all the technical skills but is a better listener than most. She’s nimble and can quickly adapt to meet the campaign’s needs. Her projects for us were always creative, tailored to our audiences, on time, on budget, and exceeded our benchmarks.”

— Michelle Blau, Digital Strategy, ex-AFL-CIO
